Shirley Wedding. {Wiscasset, Maine}

It was a perfect day to get married; sun shinning, birds chipping and not a rain cloud in the sky!  Erica and Mike got married at a beautiful vacation home in Wiscasset, Maine over looking the water with a beautiful field of day lilies and little island with seals sunbathing. Erica and Mike wanted their wedding day to be a beautiful event to celebrate with their closest family and friends, they are a laid back couple who’s perfect date day includes spending the day outside with their adorable dog and getting ice cream.  Their wedding day completely reflected their relaxed life.  The entire day was a family affair, everyone their pitching in to make this beautiful day happen. Their engagement session was the same, easy going, fun and beautiful, you can see it here!

After getting ready Erica insisted she wasn’t a crier and she didn’t think she would cry today but, love does crazy things. From reading her private letter from her very soon to be husband to seeing him for the first time during their First Look there were definitely tears of joy and happiness shed.  And the groom wasn’t immune either, when Mike saw his gorgeous bride he couldn’t help but shed some tears. Beth and I were completed honored to be there to capture this beautiful moment.

The entire day flowed beautifully, lots of laughs, love and memories were made. Erica and Mike surrounded themselves with people who truly love them and support their beautiful relationship. I can’t imagine two people better suited for one another.  They were so excited to get married and oh so happy!

We are so thankful to both of you for welcoming us into your fantastic day! Wishing you many years of joy and happiness!
