When Photos Matter Most

Thanksgiving 2012

Thanksgiving 2012

This photo is not perfect. The lighting is off, the camera is stacked on books and we had a hard time getting the baby to look. Despite all these things I know that this will forever be a photo cherished by our family.

Expected or unexpected death is never easy and we ache for the people that we pray to one day see again. There is no way to fully experience those that we miss. We keep old notes and letters and those gifts that we packed away we can’t help but bring out and find a place for them in our home so we can feel closer to our loved ones.

This is one of the many reasons that we do what we do. Photos are one way to not only see our loved ones but to remember holidays and birthdays with them. To remember the conversations we had and the jokes that we shared.

So whether you hire a power house sister team to capture those precious moments with the ones we love, or whip out your phone capturing moments is on film is what it’s all about.

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to be able to look back at and remember all the wonderful times that we are able to share with our loved ones.

This family photo with my grandmother is hanging in my house along with many other pictures that we were able to take throughout the years. She had been sick for a long time but it was still hard when she was finally gone. I am thankful for all the snapshots that were taken on our last holiday together. Don’t miss out on opportunities to remember the people that you love.
