Meet the Normand Family! I have known Michelle since we were kiddos, I believe it’s like 16 or 17 years! I can’t believe it sometimes. It is such an amazing thing to look back and remember Michelle and I as silly teenagers and now getting to photograph her and her beautiful family. This entire session was a BLAST! Sofia is the sweetest little girl! Beth and I were so impressed by her and her wonderful nature, sweet laugh and beautiful eyes! Tim and Michelle are completely in love with her and with each other, it was WONDERFUL to get to see the love in the little family. Thank you guys so much for letting us be a part of your life and thanks Tim for keeping us all laughing the entire session <3
The St.Angelo family was about to welcome their 2nd little boy into their family this summer. We had the honor of photographing Amanda and Bo’s intimate beach wedding last summer. It was so wonderful to meet these amazing people. They are seriously SO SWEET and their son Dom is freaking adorable! Well, we were happy enough to just get to do their wedding but, then Amanda contacted us to let us know she was expecting baby number two(!) in the late summer and wanted to do a 1 year Anniversary/Maternity session. We were MORE then excited!!! On their anniversary, July 18, we headed down to the pier and had a blast, playing games, riding rides, laughing and catching up. Can’t wait to meet baby Jeremy next summer for more family photo fun!

This is what I did today! I got to edit these beautiful photos of my dear gorgeous friends. They are expecting their first baby, a little baby boy, this November AND the cherry on top is that I (allison) get to be there to photograph this little miracle coming into the world. I CAN’T WAIT. I CAN’T WAIT! Hold on, did I say that I COULDN’T WAIT! It is such a blessing that Jill and Martin are allowing me to be there with them. These maternity photos just get me amped up for all the wonderful things to come!
Tina and Trevor were married in Portland, Maine on a gorgeous day in July, 2014. From start to finish everything was fun, smooth and love was in the air! Tina and Trevor surrounded themselves by family and friends who took care of them from making bouquets and singing “going to the chapel” to some simple quality time and awesome dance floor fun. It was such a beautiful day! I think these photos will speak better than any words I have… please enjoy a peak at Tina & Trevor Herrick’s Wedding Day!
When Beth and I sat down at Starbucks with Brittni and her mom Michelle last Spring we were over the moon thrilled! Once Brittni started telling us about the love of her life, Justin she lit up. I could see the purity of their relationship; this love was bursting out of her and it was so obvious that their relationship is something truly special.
We were a mix of crazy nervous, excited and happy! We were hoping and praying that Brittni and Justin would give us the honor of being there to capture their very special day. And YAY! you guessed it on June 21,2014 we were there to celebrate with them and photograph their amazing wedding day!
From the moment we stepped into the Bridal Salon we could feel the love and joy that each of those bridemaids had for their dear friends. This trend continued throughout the day, SO MUCH LOVE! Every person there, friend, family, guest was thrilled for Brittni and Justin this wedding was truly a dream come true.
They did their first look at Southern Maine Community College beach and were married at East Point Christian Church in Portland; the reception followed under a lovely tent,on the water, at Bug Light Park in South Portland. The nautical theme with anchors, local popcorn favors, and hydrangeas made for a lovely night and an awesome party!
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as we do.
Talk about perfect! One of the many reasons we love working with Sylvia, besides actually photographing and spending time with her beautiful family, is that she thinks of every detail! Sylvia asked us if we could do a Grandchildren’s session with herself, her husband Andy, all her grandchildren and their lovely mama’s. She wanted the session to be at the top of Bradbury Mountain.
When we got to the top Andy was quick to be the tour guide pointing out Bath Iron Works, Maine Med and Cousin’s Island –all places Beth and I would have never known ourselves with out our trusty tour guide. While we were learning, the kiddos got camera ready!
